Edinburg Rotary Scholarship
The Four-Way Test
The Rotary Club of Edinburg invites graduating Seniors from the following schools to apply to our Rotary Four Way Test Scholarship:
Edinburg North HS,
Edinburg HS,
Johnny Economedes HS,
Robert Vela,
South Texas ISD World Scholars,
Vanguard Academy Beethoven Secondary,
IDEA Toros College Prep,
UTRGV's Mathematics & Science Academy,
UTRGV ECISD Collegiate HS.
Each student will need to submit a Scholarship Application along with an Essay describing their interpretation and application of our Rotary Four-Way Test.
The Rotary Four-Way Test, of the things we think, say or do, is a test used by Rotarians world-wide as a moral code for personal and business relationships.
The test can be applied to almost any aspect of life. Students are encouraged to research this topic and provide an original essay describing how they might use this Test in their own lives to help them make a difficult decision on a personal or professional situation or dilemma.
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendship?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Student applications and essays will be due by April 1st, 2025
